Corporate Tax Solicitor – Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Solicitor with at least three years of post‑qualification experience to join our Birmingham office. You will work within a highly regarded tax team, advising a portfolio of UK and international clients on complex, high‑value transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, private‑equity investments and financing transactions.
• Collaborate with corporate, private‑equity, real‑estate and banking teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support international tax matters, group reorganisations and strategic tax‑planning projects.
• Assist with the preparation of tax opinions, documentation and client communications.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years PQE within a recognised corporate tax team.
• Demonstrated experience advising on transactional tax matters.
• Commercial awareness and strong technical and communication abilities.
• Experience in a national, international or well‑known regional practice is advantageous.
