Counterbalance Forklift Driver – Logistics Operator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing site in Southminster. The role is seasonal with the potential to become permanent, offering a fast‑paced environment during the peak harvest season.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently across the site.
• Load, unload, move and store raw materials, ingredients, packaging and finished goods.
• Supply production areas with required materials and maintain accurate stock movement records.
• Use scanners, printers and warehouse management systems as required.
• Carry out effective shift handovers and uphold high housekeeping and health & safety standards.
• Support warehouse, logistics and production teams when needed.

Required profile

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence with at least 6 months experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse or logistics.
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work flexibly, reliably and proactively.

What we offer

• £14 per hour with overtime at time‑and‑a‑half after 40 hours.
• 12‑hour rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
