Creative Teaching Assistant – Flexible for Performers

About the role

We are seeking creative individuals, especially performers, to work as Teaching Assistants in primary schools across London. The role offers a flexible schedule that can be arranged around auditions and other professional commitments, allowing you to bring your energy and creativity into the classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Support early years (EYFS) learners with play‑based activities, phonics, and numeracy.
• Assist KS1 and KS2 students in structured lessons covering English, Maths and other subjects.
• Provide tailored support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), building strong relationships and reinforcing lesson content.
• Collaborate with teachers to prepare materials and maintain a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their education.
• Adaptable, reliable and able to fit work around a performing career.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS disclosure and be willing to complete the Philosophy Education registration process.

Required skills

• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Ability to follow DfE guidelines and school policies.
