Creative Teaching Assistant – Flexible Work for Performers

About the role

We are seeking creative individuals with performance backgrounds to work as Teaching Assistants in London primary schools. This flexible, supply‑based role allows you to fit work around auditions and other professional commitments while making a positive impact on young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Support teachers and pupils across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 classrooms.
• Assist with play‑based learning, phonics, numeracy and literacy activities.
• Provide tailored support for children with Special Educational Needs.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

Required profile

• Passionate about working with children and education.
• Flexible schedule able to cover full school days (8:30 am‑4:00 pm).
• Enhanced DBS disclosure and willingness to complete registration with the DfE.

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to adapt creative performance techniques to classroom settings.
