Credit Controller – Manchester City Centre

About the role

This email‑led Credit Controller role is based in Manchester city centre and focuses on building strong relationships with landlords and tenants while ensuring rental arrears are collected efficiently. You will work closely with the finance team in a supportive environment that values collaboration and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage rental arrears, following up on outstanding balances.
• Liaise with landlords and tenants via email and phone to resolve payment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of communications and payments in the finance system.
• Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and produce regular reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance collection efficiency.

Required profile

• Proactive and self‑motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in credit control, collections or a related finance function is preferred.
