Customer Service Advisor

About the role

We are a well‑established e‑commerce business specialising in sports, fitness, healthcare safety and pet products. Based in Clapham, London, we are looking for an office‑based Customer Service Advisor to join our growing team and help deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional support to customers via telephone and email.
• Handle order queries, product information requests and take orders over the phone.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain order updates and product details.
• Work with internal departments to resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Authorise returns and manage customer escalations.
• Support product enquiries and perform ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑service or call‑centre environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and a clear, professional phone manner.
• High standard written English – flawless spelling, punctuation and grammar.
• Ability to remain kind, considerate and respectful when dealing with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
