Customer Service Representative

About the role

Join our Birmingham team as a Customer Service Representative, providing support to a diverse range of customers. You will receive comprehensive training to take ownership of enquiries and resolve issues efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from existing customers.
• Take ownership of problems, resolve them at first contact, and escalate when necessary.
• Engage quickly and build relationships, often with vulnerable customers.
• Maintain an accurate understanding of systems and processes to record queries correctly.
• Advise customers in line with industry regulations.

Required profile

• Good listener and confident verbal communicator.
• Ability to adapt communication style to different customer needs.
• Enjoy taking ownership of problems and making decisions.
• Previous customer service experience.
• IT literate and comfortable using CRM tools.
• Professional, friendly approach and adaptable to change.
• Capable of working in a fast‑paced environment.
