About the role

This full‑time Cyber Security Trainee programme is designed for individuals with no prior experience who want to launch a career in IT and cybersecurity. Over a series of four steps you will receive accredited online training, hands‑on lab work, official CompTIA certifications and support to secure your first IT Technician role.

Key responsibilities

• Complete accredited CompTIA A+ and Network+ courses delivered via an online learning portal.
• Participate in practical lab sessions to apply networking and security concepts.
• Sit for the CompTIA A+ and Network+ exams and obtain the certifications.
• Work with the placement team to secure a junior IT Technician position in a UK organisation.

Required profile

• Motivation to start a career in IT or cybersecurity.
• Ability to study independently and follow a structured training schedule.
• Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn technical concepts.

Required skills

• CompTIA A+ certification (or willingness to achieve it).
