Data & AI Product Owner – London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead data and AI‑focused products within a global organisation that is investing heavily in generative AI, automation and digital transformation. Based in London with a hybrid working model, you will bridge business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to shape and deliver AI‑enabled solutions that drive operational efficiency and better decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously prioritise the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the long‑term AI strategy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to identify AI, automation and data‑driven opportunities.
• Translate requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery road‑maps.
• Drive development and adoption of generative AI, intelligent automation, copilots and agent‑based workflows.
• Partner with data, engineering, architecture and delivery teams to ensure products are scalable, secure and fit for purpose.
• Define success metrics, business outcomes and performance measures for new initiatives.
• Support experimentation, proof‑of‑concepts and AI use‑case discovery.
• Ensure governance, privacy, compliance and responsible AI considerations are embedded in delivery.
• Coordinate testing, user acceptance, release planning and stakeholder communication.
• Monitor product performance and continuously identify optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Business Analyst in data, analytics, AI, automation or digital product environments.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritise product backlogs.
• Track record of delivering data, analytics, reporting, automation or AI‑focused initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and requirements‑gathering skills.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
