Data Engineer Specialist – Data Migration & Analytics

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a large-scale systems transformation programme. The role will focus on building and optimising data pipelines, supporting migration activities and delivering reliable datasets for reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Support data migration, transformation and validation activities.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and compliance throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects, suppliers and business stakeholders.
• Assist with testing, user acceptance testing and cut‑over activities.
• Produce technical documentation and hand‑over materials.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data engineering and large-scale data migration projects.
• Strong expertise in ETL/ELT and data integration.
• Knowledge of data modelling, warehousing and cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Understanding of data governance and quality frameworks.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Active SC Clearance and NPPV3 Clearance.
