Data & Insights Manager (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are supporting a well‑known national charity that needs an interim Data & Insights Manager for a six‑month period. The role sits at the centre of a small, high‑impact data team and bridges Data Operations, Data Insights and key stakeholders during a time of organisational change.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a multidisciplinary Data & Insights team, prioritising workstreams and ensuring delivery.
• Act as the primary liaison between the data function and fundraising, finance, operations and senior leadership teams.
• Oversee the production of reporting and analytics solutions to support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Maintain and enhance the organisation’s data warehouse and broader data‑architecture environment.
• Promote best practice in data governance, reporting processes and team ways of working.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Manager, Data & Insights Lead or Head of Data.
• Strong stakeholder‑management abilities within a fundraising or charitable context.
• Solid understanding of reporting, analytics, data warehousing and data architecture.
• Experience in the charity or not‑for‑profit sector is preferred.
• Familiarity with Raiser's Edge is essential.
