Department Manager (AV)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Department Manager (AV) to lead our live events departments. Based in our Manchester office, you will oversee audio‑visual technicians, ensure equipment is stored and used correctly, and work closely with heads of departments and operation managers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all live events departments, including audio and vision technicians.
• Ensure all AV equipment is stored, maintained, and deployed correctly.
• Liaise with heads of departments and operation managers to coordinate resources.
• Report directly to the Warehouse Manager.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and company procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Department Manager or similar role within the AV industry.
• Strong background in live events production.
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisive decisions.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
