Deployment Lead – Accounting Solutions

About the role

Rillet is looking for a proactive Deployment Lead to own the onboarding of new accounting‑software customers in the UK. The role sits at the intersection of finance, product and customer success, helping finance teams modernise their processes. You will work closely with clients to understand their accounting workflows and ensure a smooth, timely implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end customer onboarding and deployment, coordinating timelines and deliverables.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Customer Success to execute implementation plans and resolve issues.
• Analyse client finance workflows and translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Guide customers through training, change management and adoption activities.
• Support data migration, reconciliations, system setup and integration coordination.
• Track milestones, manage risks, and keep stakeholders aligned throughout the deployment.

Required profile

• Experience in accounting, audit, advisory, finance transformation or a related customer‑facing role.
• Strong knowledge of financial close, reconciliations, revenue recognition and familiarity with UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to work directly with senior stakeholders.
• Systems‑mindset with strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑paced startup environment while maintaining attention to detail.
