DevOps Engineer (AWS) – Hybrid London

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS expertise to join a fast‑growing proprietary trading firm in London. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week on‑site, and offers the chance to work on high‑impact automation and internal tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain multi‑environment AWS infrastructure using Terragrunt and Terraform.
• Operate production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and manage data services such as Aurora Postgres, MongoDB and Kafka streams.
• Develop automation scripts, internal platform tools and database fixes with Python and SQL.
• Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI and monitor reliability with Datadog.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of cloud/platform/DevOps engineering experience with a clear progression toward senior roles.
• Strong production experience on AWS core services (EKS, IAM, RDS) and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Effective communicator who remains calm under time‑sensitive system pressures.
