Digital Programme Manager (Salesforce Transformation)

About the role

We are partnering with a nationally recognised charity to find an experienced Digital Programme Manager to lead a flagship Salesforce CRM transformation. The role will oversee the rollout of Salesforce to over 80,000 volunteers, driving the first major release in November.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a large‑scale Salesforce CRM transformation programme.
• Drive the rollout of Salesforce to support more than 80,000 volunteers.
• Manage multiple interdependent workstreams, ensuring alignment with programme objectives.
• Work closely with implementation partners and third‑party suppliers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Own programme governance, planning, RAID management, reporting and benefits realisation.
• Control programme budgets, risks, dependencies and resource allocation.
• Engage senior stakeholders across Digital, Membership Services and Executive leadership.
• Collaborate with volunteer groups to ensure a user‑focused solution.
• Coordinate and influence a matrix of Programme Managers, Product Managers and Workstream Leads.
• Ensure business readiness, change management and adoption ahead of go‑live.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, complex digital programmes, preferably within a charity or nonprofit environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Excellent communication and consensus‑building skills across matrix organisations.
• Ability to start immediately and deliver a major release within a tight timeframe.

What we offer

• Competitive day rate of £500‑£700 (inside IR35).
• Hybrid working – approximately two days per week in London.
• Potential to extend the contract or transition into a permanent role.
