Director of Product - Cards

About the role

If that excites you, how about joining our Product Team as our Director of Product - Cards? Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will own and drive the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution for ClearBank’s cards product offering, from partner integration to delivering a leading solution for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the long‑term Cards product strategy.
• Build and manage the Cards P&L to optimise revenue.
• Lead a cross‑functional cards team and coordinate with operational functions.
• Own end‑to‑end product delivery from ideation through enhancement.
• Support scheme management, including compliance, billing manuals, interchange and mandates.
• Oversee customer authentication and transaction authorisation flows.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Card Issuance (including Debit Issuance).
• Strong knowledge of Card Scheme frameworks, preferably Visa.
• Proven product leadership with at least 5 years as a senior product manager.
• Commercial acumen with experience owning a product P&L and pricing models.
• Exceptional stakeholder management across the organisation.
• Understanding of operational requirements such as fraud/risk management, PCI compliance and reconciliation.
