Director, Trade Data Strategy & Management Lead

About the role

Citi is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute the data strategy for its Trade and Working Capital Solutions (TWCS) business. Reporting into the Business Execution team, you will act as the primary data product representative, driving governance, quality and roadmap delivery across global lines of business.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall data strategy and governance framework for TWCS.
• Lead the Data Agile Release Train (ART) scrum teams, aligning technology investments with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Managers, ART leadership and business heads to ensure data integrity, security and accessibility.
• Set and monitor Data OKRs, delivering on the Technology Book of Work related to data initiatives.
• Oversee data governance, quality and management processes across multiple product domains.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in data strategy, governance and management within a large financial institution.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional agile teams and deliver complex data roadmaps.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technology, operations and business units.
