Domestic Assistant – Part‑time Hospital Support

About the role

The NHS Scotland is seeking a part‑time Domestic Assistant to deliver a range of domestic services across clinical and non‑clinical departments in hospitals and health centres. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and infection‑controlled environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide domestic cleaning and support services in designated hospital areas.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety, infection control, Audit Scotland, and HAI task‑force requirements.
• Follow the National Cleaning Services Specification and any additional departmental guidelines.
• Work the scheduled back‑shift: Monday‑Thursday 17:00‑20:00 and Friday 17:00‑19:24.
