Early Years Teaching Assistant – East London Nurseries & Schools

About the role

We are seeking qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioners and Nursery Nurses to support children’s learning and wellbeing across a variety of nurseries, children’s centres and primary schools in East London.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Create safe, stimulating learning environments.
• Monitor and record each child’s progress and achievements.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working in nurseries, pre‑schools or primary school settings.
• Positive, nurturing attitude with strong communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
