About the role

Our client, an established international school in Rabat, is looking for a qualified Economics & Business Studies Teacher to deliver Cambridge IGCSE and A Level programmes. The role involves creating engaging lessons, preparing students for examinations, and contributing to a vibrant academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Economics and Business Studies at IGCSE and A Level using the Cambridge International Curriculum.
• Design and deliver lessons covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, and global economic issues.
• Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge examinations and provide constructive feedback.
• Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records.
• Participate in curriculum planning and departmental collaboration.
• Support extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school.
• Uphold safeguarding and pastoral responsibilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching IGCSE and/or A Level Economics and Business Studies.
• Strong subject knowledge and exam‑preparation expertise.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Economics and Business Studies curricula.
• Ability to develop engaging, student‑centred lesson plans.
• Effective assessment and feedback techniques.
