Education Solutions Consultant

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing UK technology group, is seeking an experienced Education Solutions Consultant to design, scope and support technology solutions for schools, academies and Multi‑Academy Trusts across the UK. The role sits between consultancy, pre‑sales and delivery oversight, taking ownership of solutions from discovery through to technical sign‑off.

Key responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable and supportable technical solutions for education customers.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with senior stakeholders.
• Review existing environments and produce roadmap recommendations.
• Produce high‑level solution designs, implementation scopes and technical recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with DfE Digital and Technology Standards, Cyber Essentials, GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
• Support sales and account teams with tenders, bids, workshops and technical presentations.

Required profile

• Significant senior‑level IT experience within the education sector (e.g., IT Manager, Network Manager, Head of IT).
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Full UK driving licence, own car and willingness to travel to education sites nationwide.
