Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (NICEIC) – London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (NICEIC) to join a leading building‑services contractor in Central London. The role involves overseeing electrical compliance on prestigious commercial and heritage projects, ensuring safety and regulatory standards are met across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the company’s NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor, managing electrical inspection, testing and certification for all projects.
• Conduct technical audits and site inspections to verify compliance with BS 7671 and other relevant regulations.
• Review and approve electrical certification documents, including EICRs.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers, site supervisors and project teams.
• Liaise with clients, external auditors and regulatory bodies, promoting best practice throughout the portfolio.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent).
• Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge.
• City & Guilds 2391‑52 Inspection & Testing certification.
• Valid ECS Card.
• Proven experience preparing and carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports.
• Strong understanding of BS 7671 and commercial electrical installations.
• Previous experience as a NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor is advantageous.
