Employment Solicitor – Birmingham

About the role

An established law firm just outside Birmingham is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to work closely with the Employment Partner. You will join a growing department with a diverse client base, handling both contentious and non‑contentious matters while gradually building your own caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of employment law matters.
• Provide advice on both contentious and non‑contentious issues.
• Support the Employment Partner on complex cases.
• Act for both employers and employees, with claimant experience essential.
• Contribute to the department’s continued growth.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in employment law.
• Proven experience handling claimant employment matters.
• Ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and client‑care skills.
• Team‑oriented and proactive mindset.

Required skills

• Employment law expertise (both claimant and respondent work).
