About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in South West London from September. The role involves delivering engaging English Language and Literature lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess well‑structured English lessons.
- Cover both Language and Literature curriculum content.
- Monitor and support pupil progress, adapting approaches for all abilities.
- Contribute to enrichment activities and wider school community initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in English.
- Passion for inspiring and motivating young learners.
- Excellent classroom management and relationship‑building skills.
