Entry Level Accountant – Junior Role in London

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join a dynamic family office in London. This permanent, hybrid position offers hands‑on experience across accounting, reporting, investment oversight, and payroll for multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting for 20+ accounts, including ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Track capital calls, distributions, valuations and produce investment performance reports.
• Oversee bank accounts, execute wires and payments, and manage AP/AR using ApprovalMax.
• Administer end‑to‑end payroll across three countries, ensuring compliance.
• Support tax filings with external advisors and maintain compliance for personal and corporate taxes.
• Coordinate vendor payments, assist with audits, and provide financial analysis for new investments.

Required profile

• A recent graduate or early‑career professional eager to develop accounting expertise.
• Detail‑oriented with strong numerical accuracy.
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
• Experience using Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel).
• Familiarity with ApprovalMax for AP/AR workflows.
