Environmental & Safety Manager

About the role

Lead the brewery’s Environment, Health & Safety agenda, ensuring compliance with AB InBev standards, legal requirements and VPO methodologies while fostering a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Drive safety leadership and embed the SAFE Together culture across operations.
• Lead risk assessments and controls for high‑risk activities such as confined spaces, work at height, electrical safety and LOTO.
• Oversee incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure environmental compliance and drive improvements in water, waste, energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, audits, permits and statutory reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in EHS, Engineering, Occupational Health, Environmental Science or related field.
• 5‑10+ years of EHS leadership in FMCG, beverage or manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience managing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.
• Strong track record of transforming safety culture and leading incident investigations.

Required skills

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
• IOSH/IEMA membership.
• Risk assessment and LOTO procedures.
• Process safety principles.
• Data‑driven performance indicators.
