Equity Derivatives Sales Trader

About the role

Our client, a growing institutional brokerage and trading business in London, is seeking an experienced Equity Derivatives Sales Trader. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s equity derivatives franchise, leveraging existing client relationships and generating new business across institutional markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, hedge funds, asset managers, banks and other market participants.
• Identify, originate and execute new business opportunities across listed and OTC equity derivatives.
• Work closely with trading and risk teams to deliver efficient execution and liquidity solutions.
• Provide market colour, trade ideas and product expertise to clients.
• Expand existing client relationships while actively sourcing new revenue streams.
• Monitor market developments and communicate relevant opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional service.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the equity derivatives platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Equity Derivatives Sales Trading, Delta One Sales Trading or a closely related role.
• Strong understanding of equity derivatives markets and products, both listed and OTC.
• Established relationships with institutional market participants and a track record of revenue generation.
• Commercial instincts, entrepreneurial mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
