Experience Optimisation (XO) Lead

About the role

UNRVLD is seeking an experienced Experience Optimisation (XO) Lead to sit at the heart of its evolving XO practice. This hands‑on leadership role bridges strategic direction and delivery, driving experimentation programmes, senior client relationships and the integration of AI across the service.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery quality on XO client accounts, managing end‑to‑end experimentation programmes, ensuring statistical rigour and integrating AI tools for variant creation, research synthesis or results analysis.
• Act as the senior day‑to‑day client contact on key accounts, presenting findings to senior stakeholders and uncovering conversion opportunities through data analysis and hypothesis development.
• Partner with the Head of XO to define and govern UNRVLD’s AI‑use standards, selecting tools, setting review processes and updating policies as the technology landscape evolves.
• Collaborate to align analytics, CRO, SEO and personalisation, creating a unified insight framework, coordinated test plans and a single optimisation roadmap for clients.
• Evaluate emerging AI solutions – from large language models for research synthesis to AI‑assisted experimentation features and machine‑learning personalisation – and advise on practical adoption.
• Support new‑business pitches by shaping proposed approaches, designing programmes and articulating the AI dimension of the XO offering.
• Identify opportunities to deepen and expand existing client programmes and surface signals to the Head of XO.
• Line‑manage and develop a team of XO Consultants, conducting 1:1s, reviewing work, coaching methodology and building AI fluency across the team.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in CRO, experimentation, personalisation or digital optimisation, with a proven track record of managing and developing direct reports.
• Strong expertise in experimentation methodology, confident in test design, statistical analysis and challenging unsound practices.
• Practical experience using AI tools in a professional setting, such as large language models or AI‑assisted features within experimentation platforms.
