Experienced HGV Class 1 Driver – Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join a fast‑growing logistics client in Birmingham. The role involves trunking goods between depots within the automotive sector, with up to three to four deliveries per day.

Key responsibilities

• Operate modern HGV Class 1 trucks to transport goods from depot to depot.
• Complete 3‑4 drops per day across multiple sites (Hams Hall, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton).
• Work both PM (15:00‑21:00) and AM (05:00‑10:00) shifts, following a Thursday‑Monday or Friday‑Wednesday pattern.
• Adhere to all road safety and compliance regulations, including tachograph and CPC requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience driving a Class 1 / C+E vehicle.
• Valid Class 1 / C+E licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Valid tachograph and CPC cards.
• Ability to start from any of the listed sites and attend a one‑day paid assessment.
