Experienced Paraplanner – Financial Planning Team

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing financial planning team in central Manchester. The successful candidate will work closely with Financial Advisers, providing high‑quality technical support, preparing suitability reports and helping deliver tailored financial solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality suitability reports and supporting documentation.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection products.
• Analyse client financial information to support planning recommendations.
• Prepare client review packs and presentation documents.
• Liaise with providers and third parties to obtain policy information.
• Process new business and support ongoing client servicing.
• Maintain accurate client records and update CRM systems.
• Schedule meetings and manage client correspondence.
• Ensure work complies with FCA regulations and internal procedures.
• Collaborate with Financial Advisers to deliver an outstanding client experience.
• Contribute to improving internal processes and efficiencies.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) – essential.
• Minimum five years’ experience as a Paraplanner.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial planning.
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
• Experience within a financial planning or wealth‑management environment.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
