Experienced Primary Teacher – September Start

About the role

With schools preparing to reopen next week, Aspire People are currently working with primary schools looking to appoint experienced teachers for the new academic year. This role is ideal for teachers seeking a change, who have recently finished a position, or have not yet secured a September placement. Schools are interviewing now for September starts, and placements are subject to Child Protection screening.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for a primary classroom
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Differentiate learning to meet individual needs
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent UK primary teaching experience
• Strong classroom management skills
• Good knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach
