About the role

This mobile position covers South East London, delivering maintenance services to high‑profile clients. You will perform reactive and remedial building‑fabric tasks, ensuring the highest quality standards and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance services to high‑profile clients and exceed quality expectations.
  • Use initiative to solve technical problems, source parts, and obtain manufacturer support.
  • Prepare detailed write‑ups of work carried out to keep clients informed.
  • Complete all tasks within agreed timescales, adhering to regulations and contract specifications.
  • Maintain operation and maintenance logs, control measures and risk assessments.
  • Utilise PDAs or other electronic devices to record work.
  • Liaise with the Helpdesk, working independently or as part of a team.
  • Observe the highest health‑and‑safety standards, conducting point‑of‑work risk assessments.
  • Represent the company professionally when dealing with a variety of clients.
  • Provide call‑out response across all contracts.

Required profile

  • Customer‑focused attitude with practical problem‑solving approach.
  • Excellent communication skills as the first point of contact for clients and engineers.
  • Strong organisational ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset to contribute to team success.
  • Relevant qualification in your trade (C&G or NVQ Level 2/3).
  • Minimum three years’ experience in building maintenance, especially reactive and remedial work.
  • Full UK driver’s licence.

Required skills

  • Carpentry and wet‑trade tasks.
  • Minor plumbing, tiling and ground works.
  • Use of PDAs or electronic devices for work recording.
  • IOSH Working Safely or CSCS Card.
  • FDIS fire‑door qualification (desirable).
  • Fire compartmentation experience (desirable).
  • Asbestos awareness training (UKATA) (desirable).
