Facilities Manager – Birmingham City Centre

About the role

We are seeking a Facilities Manager to join our Birmingham City Centre cluster. Working side‑by‑side with a Customer Experience Manager, you will own the hard services of a group of city‑centre buildings and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Facilities Team Members delivering hard‑services across the building cluster.
• Plan, schedule and oversee preventive and reactive maintenance activities.
• Provide direction on projects that involve building mobilisation and service delivery.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain high standards.
• Manage multiple maintenance projects simultaneously, anticipating issues and responding quickly.
• Support the overall customer experience of the buildings in partnership with the Customer Experience Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities management, preferably across several buildings.
• Demonstrated leadership ability – coaching, motivating and developing a high‑performing team.
• Strong collaborative skills with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, contractors and suppliers.
• Capability to manage multi‑project environments, both proactively and reactively.
