Field Project Operations Manager – People, Ops, Clients, Systems

We are looking for an exceptional Field People, Project & Client Operations Lead to own project delivery across London and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project and valuation plans to keep work on schedule, within budget and fully compliant.
• Own administration, IT systems and reporting to keep teams, projects and clients aligned.
• Manage specialist subcontractors and employees across multiple sites, providing clear direction and addressing issues early.
• Promote high health and safety standards through training, monitoring and proactive management.
• Handle conflict neutrally, preventing team politics from affecting delivery.
• Provide clear, accurate updates on progress, productivity, costs and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong, confident user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience managing and directing small teams of employees or subcontractors.
• Ability to give clear instructions, set expectations and hold people accountable.
• Skilled at early conflict resolution and remaining impartial.
• Experience managing multiple sites or external building‑maintenance works.
• Highly organised with excellent project planning and time‑management skills.
• Effective communicator able to engage with site teams, clients and senior stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness, ideally with experience valuing works for accounting purposes.
• Full UK driving licence.
