Field Service Engineer – Refrigeration

About the role

Join a growing company delivering refrigeration and heat‑pump services across the North of England. As a Field Service Engineer you will travel door‑to‑door, performing reactive repairs, planned servicing and maintenance on domestic and light‑commercial refrigeration systems.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out fault finding, maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs on refrigeration machinery.
• Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
• Collaborate with other engineers on project‑based work.
• Travel across a wide geographic area (Manchester, Cumbria, Durham, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Leeds, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Merseyside, Nottingham, Leicester) on a day‑shift schedule (Mon‑Fri, 8 am‑5 pm).

Required profile

• Qualified refrigeration engineer or equivalent background.
• Experience with domestic and light‑commercial refrigeration or heat‑pump systems.
• Valid F‑Gas UK Driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Refrigeration system installation, maintenance and repair.
• Heat‑pump service knowledge.
• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Electrical system understanding related to refrigeration equipment.
