Finance Assistant

About the role

VisionFR is seeking an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join its friendly finance team in Central London. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience across a range of transactional finance activities within a supportive, hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash records.
• Raise and issue customer invoices, allocate incoming payments and update accounting records.
• Prepare supplier payment runs, process online payments and post supplier invoices.
• Monitor the finance inbox, respond to queries and direct requests appropriately.
• Reconcile employee expenses and company credit cards, ensuring receipts and approvals are obtained.
• Assist with timesheet administration, reporting and monitoring submissions.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team and occasional office duties.
• Support ad‑hoc finance and administrative tasks as the business grows.

Required profile

• A genuine interest in developing a career in finance.
• GCSE, A‑Level or equivalent qualifications with strong maths and English.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
