Finance Manager - Education

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis for the Education brand at Springer Nature in London. Working on a hybrid model, you will support Gross Margin and Digital & Technology functions and act as a trusted partner to Supply Chain and Digital teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own budgeting and forecasting for Gross Margin cost of goods sold and Digital operating expenditure, including capital spend and group recharges.
• Develop financial models, scenario analysis and business cases to inform strategic decisions.
• Maintain planning data in Anaplan and ensure accuracy of forecasts.
• Present budgets, forecasts, risks and performance trends to senior management.
• Partner with Supply Chain stakeholders to provide financial insight, review inventory risks and drive operational improvement.
• Ensure strong financial control, governance and continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Required profile

• Strategic mindset with strong financial acumen.
• Ability to challenge assumptions and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Experience partnering with supply‑chain and digital teams.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
