Finance Manager

About the role

This interim Finance Manager position supports a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed retail business in Central London. Over a 6‑12 month period you will help streamline finance processes, enhance reporting and strengthen controls to enable the next stage of growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement improvements across finance processes, reporting and controls.
• Streamline month‑end activities to improve efficiency, accuracy and consistency.
• Support enhancements to ERP systems and finance reporting tools.
• Improve financial reporting and management information for senior stakeholders.
• Review existing finance processes and recommend practical improvements.
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial processes and data quality.
• Assist with finance activities related to acquisitions and business integration.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow reporting.
• Produce insightful management reporting, variance analysis and KPI reporting.
• Support the Financial Controller with process documentation and best‑practice implementation.
• Coach junior members of the finance team as required.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Proven track record of improving finance processes in a commercial environment.
• Confident in producing budgets, forecasts and management information.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
