Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead the finance function of a fast‑growing music business with a multi‑million‑pound turnover. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide accurate financial reporting, strategic insight and robust control across several entities.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of finance across multiple group companies and business entities.
• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, financial reports and performance analysis for senior leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management to ensure financial stability.
• Deliver commercial analysis and insight to support strategic decision‑making.
• Manage balance‑sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting and month‑end reporting.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure statutory compliance.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable and credit control to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Coordinate payroll processing with internal or external providers.
• Act as primary contact for external accountants, auditors, banks and advisers.
• Support year‑end statutory accounts and coordinate the annual audit.
• Develop and improve financial systems, controls and reporting processes.
• Produce KPI dashboards and financial forecasts for business planning.

Required profile

• Experienced finance professional with a commercial mindset.
• Hands‑on leadership style and ability to work closely with the CEO.
• Proven track record of managing finance across multiple entities.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to provide strategic insight.
