Finance Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, investment‑backed renewable energy infrastructure business to hire a Finance Manager. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will own budgeting, forecasting, reporting and support strategic finance initiatives across a portfolio of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the corporate budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting cycle.
• Produce clear financial insights for senior leadership and investors.
• Build financial models for equity funding, capital allocation and long‑term value creation.
• Support financing initiatives, including equity transactions, joint ventures and junior financing.
• Assist M&A and strategic transactions, including post‑deal integration.
• Own cash‑flow forecasting and monitor liquidity requirements.
• Track financial performance across construction and operational projects.
• Deliver month‑end commentary on project economics and portfolio performance.
• Develop scenario‑based forecasts and perform variance, trend and sensitivity analysis.
• Improve finance processes through technology, automation and AI.
• Support corporate governance, external debt reporting and VAT reviews.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or equivalent.
• Experience in FP&A, capital allocation, commercial finance or a similar analytical role.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear recommendations.
• Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and focused on continuous improvement.
