Finance Manager – Part‑time, Remote

About the role

This part‑time Finance Manager position supports a growing charity in the West Midlands. The role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on financial management, offering flexible hours and predominantly remote work while providing high‑quality insight to the Executive Team and Board of Trustees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of financial strategy, planning and forecasting.
• Produce management accounts, budgets and regular financial reports.
• Partner with senior stakeholders on business planning and growth initiatives.
• Oversee audits, compliance, governance and risk management.
• Manage and develop a small finance team.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial systems and processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a finance manager or finance leadership role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling abilities.
• Experience presenting financial information to Boards, Trustees or senior leadership.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
