Financial Operations Lead

About the role

As the first dedicated finance hire at Solve Intelligence, you will own the end‑to‑end finance function, building processes, tooling and budgets that enable the company to scale to 100+ people across London, New York and Munich while supporting rapid ARR growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own supplier payments end‑to‑end, including approval workflows and vendor negotiations.
• Manage customer invoicing for 1,000+ law‑firm and enterprise clients and work with RevOps to collect overdue invoices.
• Run the monthly close with external accountants and maintain accurate financial metrics for the board and investors.
• Design and implement the finance stack, selecting tools for approvals, procurement, spend management and billing.
• Build budgeting and approval processes with the founders and promote a disciplined financial culture.
• Develop financial models for major decisions such as office leases, hiring plans and marketing budgets.
• Handle international finance matters across three countries, including transfer pricing and tax coordination.
• Steward the $60 M raised, ensuring payroll, vendor payments and cash management.

Required profile

• 5+ years in finance or finance‑heavy operations at high‑growth tech companies.
• Deep fluency in accounting and experience running external accountants to an on‑time close.
• Track record of building finance processes, tooling and automation at fast‑growing firms.
• Strong modelling skills for budgets, forecasts, P&L and cash.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Experience with modern finance stacks (ERP/accounting, spend management, billing & AR systems).
• Proficiency in financial modelling and budgeting.
• Knowledge of international finance, transfer pricing and tax coordination.
• Ability to negotiate vendor contracts and manage treasury.
