About the role

Amicus Fostering, in partnership with Randstad Care, is looking for compassionate individuals in Bristol to provide safe, trauma‑informed care for vulnerable children. Whether you have a background in health, education or social care, you can make a lasting difference.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dedicated, long‑term therapeutic placements for children with complex needs.
• Offer short‑term or emergency care, delivering immediate safe housing during urgent situations.
• Deliver weekend respite care, giving short‑break support that fits around your existing career.

Required profile

• Age 21 or older with full‑time UK residency (or indefinite leave to remain).
• A spare, permanent bedroom in your home.
• Prior experience in health, social care, education, youth work or a related field is highly desirable.
• Commitment to providing a stable, nurturing environment for children.
