FP&A Analyst

About the role

We are partnering with a leading capital‑intensive infrastructure business to hire an FP&A Analyst for their high‑performing finance team in central London. Reporting to the FP&A Lead, you will support financial planning, forecasting and commercial insight that drive strategic decisions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long‑range financial plans.
• Build and maintain robust financial models, scenario analyses and investment appraisals.
• Support capital expenditure planning, tracking and reporting.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis to inform commercial and operational decisions.
• Analyse performance data, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly management reports with commentary and recommendations.
• Partner with finance and operational teams to provide business insights.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of planning, forecasting and reporting processes.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Proven experience in FP&A, commercial finance or financial analysis.
• Background in a fast‑paced, capital‑intensive environment is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial mindset with proactive attitude.

• Advanced Excel – manipulation and interpretation of large data sets.
• Financial modelling.
• Scenario analysis.
