FP&A Manager

About the role

This senior Finance Planning & Analysis role sits at the heart of a fast‑growing, multi‑site business. You will partner directly with senior leadership to drive performance, influence strategy and shape key commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end budgeting and forecasting cycle, delivering accurate and timely forecasts.
• Provide insightful analysis and commentary to support operational and board‑level decision making.
• Develop and maintain financial models, scenario planning and long‑term strategic plans.
• Partner with business units to challenge performance, drive accountability and identify profitability improvements.
• Mentor and develop an FP&A Analyst, fostering a high‑performing finance team.
• Review and enhance financial controls, processes and reporting tools.
• Act as a trusted deputy to senior finance leadership when required.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear commercial insight.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving performance improvements.
• Proactive, commercially focused with strong analytical mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools (advantageous).
