Full Stack Engineer – Hybrid – Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a fast‑growing technology business that is revolutionising vehicle logistics with cutting‑edge software and machine learning. The role is hybrid, based in Birmingham, and offers the chance to work on industry‑leading route optimisation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Improve and optimise existing code to ensure performance and scalability.
• Support machine‑learning models and optimisation algorithms.
• Develop and maintain backend services using .NET and Entity Framework Core.
• Contribute to frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js.
• Support cloud‑hosted applications and services within AWS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.
• Apply software‑engineering best practices across development and deployment.

Required profile

• Strong .NET and Python development experience in commercial applications.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming and software design principles.
• Knowledge of algorithms, optimisation techniques, or mathematical modelling.
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to AWS and cloud‑native technologies is advantageous.
• Background in logistics, route planning or optimisation environments is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
