Fund Accountant

About the role

The Fund Accounting team in London supports daily profit and loss, NAV, valuations and reporting for a growing portfolio of funds. We are looking for a motivated Fund Accountant to contribute to the team, develop their expertise and help ensure accurate financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily P&L process, including attribution by driver and production of fund return estimates.
• Support month‑end close, reconcile estimated and final NAV/P&L, and monitor valuation changes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc performance reports for senior management.
• Assist with new fund launches, product initiatives and external reporting, including audited financial statements and regulatory filings (Form PF, AIFMD).
• Identify and implement process improvements and provide day‑to‑day support to the wider organisation.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education with strong academic results in relevant subjects.
• Progress towards or completion of a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in VBA (advantageous).
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
