General Facility Services & Business Operations Placement – Broughton

About the role

This 12.5‑month placement is based at Airbus' Broughton site in North Wales and is part of the Facilities Management and Real Estate (FMRE UK) organisation. You will work across the Airbus UK portfolio, supporting the General Services team and gaining exposure to finance, waste management and capital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the site Head of General Services with financial management of budgets and forecasting.
• Assist the UK Head of General Services and UK Waste Lead with business management across UK sites, including occasional travel.
• Participate in capital investment (CapEX) planning and projects following Airbus principles.
• Lead improvement projects and integrate an MFT approach within the Facilities Management team.
• Produce accurate and timely performance reports to drive service improvement.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Business, Facilities Management or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis and presenting results via graphics or dashboards.
• Proactive mindset with strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
