General Manager

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious General Manager to lead one of our busy leisure centres in London. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing you to shape the customer experience and drive commercial performance across food, drink, amusements and bowling/golf.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the centre, ensuring a safe, fun and vibrant environment for guests and staff.
• Manage all four revenue streams (Food, Drink, Amusements, Bowling/Golf) to meet budget and KPI targets.
• Develop and motivate a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellent service.
• Analyse financial and sales data, implement strategies to optimise profit and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing regulations.
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to support peak periods.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months hands‑on experience as a General Manager, preferably in leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Proven track record of improving sales performance and operational standards.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with experience coaching and developing teams.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
