About the role

Reed Education is partnering with a forward‑thinking secondary school in Leeds to hire a passionate Geography Teacher for the September 2026 start. This full‑time, long‑term position offers the chance to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, explore physical and human geography, and contribute to a vibrant learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for a range of abilities.
• Promote inquiry into global challenges, sustainability, and environmental issues.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, discussion, and critical thinking.
• Participate in fieldwork, enrichment activities, and wider school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Geography or a related discipline.
• Experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Genuine enthusiasm for helping students understand the world.
